Smile Wasp's and Bee's loaded with Pollen,

Found an old set of extension tubes today, which I havent really ever played with ever, but after reading how to's and tutorials on here, I thought it was a great sunny day to try some outdoor macro work just outside my front door.

Wasp Collecting Pollen, storing on rear legs.

Bee-2 Collecting Pollen, storing on rear legs.

Bee-1 Collecting Pollen, storing on rear legs.

Took about 120 photos until I got settings and technique starting to work in my favour.

Take using Nikon D200 + SB200 with a Sigma 70mm Prime with 31mm Extension Tube.

Aren't they fun to play with ?? All of the pics are great, I really like the 2nd one. The colors are sharpness are fantastic. I tried getting a couple of bee shots yesterday too and they didn't come out nearly as well as this !

Thanks Chip and Teedlepeep, I must admit I can't stop grinning, I did not expect to get results this quick, all down to the hows to's and tutorials on here. Thanx for the great comments.

Regards
David

Wow, these fellows look so good, so furry, they look cuddly. Great macro shots.
