Here are some of the shots I got tonight while I was playing with using a speedlight with the tubes

This is what is left of my gorgeous lilacs til next spring

I checked them out on Flickr. These are great.....Love to see the detail in things.....Saw some buubles inside that water droplet in that last shot...never seen that before. May have to get some tubes myself when I have to relinquish the macro lens until the day I can afford a good lens. Look forward to what else you come up with in your setup!

Sue, I like these. #4 is my favorite. the water droplets look like they are suspended in air. How did you get them to defy gravity?

Wow Sue, that lens is certainly working well. Super macro captures, I just love the second one. Razor sharp focusing on the edge of the petal. All of these are just brilliant. Great work.

Thanks Patrick. I got the tubes until I can afford the nice macro lens myself. So I think you should! Your macro work is to good to stop doing.
