Red face "Abandoned" shots that I didn't use for assn.

I hope it's ok to post assignment related pics here but I did not submit these for the assignment. There were pics I took with the assignment in mind though. I had a lot of fun "hunting" for assignment shots! I've never done an assignment before but now I am excited to do the next one! Anyway, here are a few others.

This has been sitting down the road from my house for a couple of weeks now. I'd been thinking, I wish someone would pick that up! Now I'm glad they didn't.

I saw this abandoned tractor and thought it was going to make such a great shot. I was really disappointed when I got home and saw what I had. Would've been better if I could've gotten closer but it was way off the road and I had my 3 kids in the car.

I liked this one well enough but wanted to go with something other than a building for submission.

I liked this one too but it seemed a little more "trashed" than "abandoned".

If you're wondering, Rt.66 was my submission for the assignment. If you want to see it w/o weeding through the assignment thread, it's on my flickr. Thanks for looking!

Especially like the first two. Who would think a tire along side the road could look so good. Isn't it funny what we stop and take pictures of? Nice work.

Thanks! It is amazing what we take pics of. Like, I'm so glad I didn't get caught taking a pic of the toilet. The tire is my favorite too.

You are thinking through your shots very well. All of them are nicely composed and the tractor would be better off in b/w if in assignment but is interesting being the only color in this particular photo. Hope you do well!
