Wow, when you look at the larger versions in flkr, it's amazing the Feet on the Coot are Awesome and the Mask on the Lapwing is as well! Thanks for Sharing these Chewys Dad.

Thank you PrimeTime. I'm thankful we dont have that many bird species as I may never get around to capturing as many as I 'd like to! In all, there are approximately 850-950 bird species in Southern Africa. And although I am in the city - Johannesburg - we are fortunate that the area is one of the largest man-made forests int he world. So besides being at approximately 1.4km above sea level, we are spoilt for choice. |
