Great shots, you can always count on a zoo for some great subjects to shoot.

These are beautifully captured and presented pictures. There is an understanding between the lens and the subject, because and the pictures almost seem staged, which of course is impossible.
I have seen the complete series on flickr and commend those who have enjoyed these, to take a look.
Stunning work Lori.

Great photographs! # 2 and 3 are my favorites, like how you captured their emotions.

I now understand how difficult it is to get good pictures at a zoo, My family and I made the trip to the Portland Oregon zoo last weekend and it was nearly impossible to push my way through the crowds of people, then when you get past the people I had to keep my fingers crossed that the animals would be in the range of my 55-250mm lens.

Well done Lori,, I like the little fella in the first one.. the fur around it's face is beautiful .. very serious though, anyone takes his piece of fruit and they die !!

The second photo is just great, a real connection with it's eyes and mood.. I love the blanket around it's back and it's just relaxing .. great image !

you really show the eyes and face in the 3rd and forth ,, all of them are well shot and no mudges on the glass from the pesky kids !!

thanks for showing them

Vin
