Default My 10,000th shot and 1st Self Portrait

I needed a mug shot for a Writers Guild publication, and while doing it, snapped my 10,000th shot since I got my camera in November. I'd never have thought I'd do 10,000 that quickly.

Self Portrait

Think I'll lose the coffee mug next time. It's a distraction, but it makes me more of a writer than the laptop!

Thanks for looking, as always.

Wow! That´s a lot of photos in a short period of time (well, for me at least).
By the way, that's a great self portrait!

I like it. The glow of the laptop screen on your face look good, deep and just good. A stricter looking mug would have been preferred.

I like the mug it gives the other mug a embiance... Just joking. Great self portrait. Like the idea of using the computer light as a fill. Good work.

Thanks! Actually, the computer's providing the key, but not by itself. I've got a piece of white paper on screen reflecting a full-power snooted 430EZ back at my face. Fill's coming from a 580EXII camera right with CTO gels. Took me a while to balance everything, but I learned a lot!

That's a very good self portrait you look so relaxed, are you sure there is only coffee in that coffee cup?

Wow! 10,000 shots, that's amazing! I am surprised your camera has held up! I sure would not want to proof and edit that many images.
Love the look of you self portrait. I really like the soft glow. I also like the coffe mug it keeps it from being a stiff cold portrait. Gives it a bit more character besides the main character, j/k. I like the expression on your face, you look charming.
Thanks for sharing yourself with us. I need to do the same!

Nice self portrait. It's good that you took the time to set the shot up.
