I had a little time for a nature walk. Here are a few.
This little guy stayed far enough away from me to escape, but stayed within my zoom range. ![]() Camera: Nikon D90 Exposure: 1/2500 sec Aperture: f/6.3 Focal Length: 200 mm ISO Speed: 200 Exposure Bias: 0 EV Flash: No Flash GPS Latitude: 38 deg 49' 44.50" N GPS Longitude: 111 deg 7' 0.61" W GPSAltitude Ref: Above Sea Level GPSAltitude: 1785 m When walking around rugged terrain, I always keep an eye open for a bit of color. ![]() Camera: Nikon D90 Exposure: 0.001 sec (1/2000) Aperture: f/5.6 Focal Length: 70 mm ISO Speed: 200 Exposure Bias: 0 EV Flash: No Flash GPS Latitude: 38 deg 49' 44.30" N GPS Longitude: 111 deg 7' 1.00" W GPSAltitude Ref: Above Sea Level GPSAltitude: 1787 m My fave of the day for the mix of shapes and colors. ![]() Camera: Nikon D90 Exposure: 0.001 sec (1/2000) Aperture: f/5.0 Focal Length: 26 mm ISO Speed: 200 Exposure Bias: 0 EV Flash: No Flash GPS Latitude: 38 deg 49' 42.68" N GPS Longitude: 111 deg 7' 5.18" W GPSAltitude Ref: Above Sea Level GPSAltitude: 1781 m Thanks for looking

Very nice! I'm partial to the lizard since I rarely get to see them around here!

Where were these taken? I have a brother in Utah and we traveled to a place that looks like some of these pics (especially from the background of pic 3). It was in Moab (the arches national park if I presume). Was this is?

Hey Patrick, Thanks for looking.
I'm a truck driver and travel around the country. So you WILL see different areas, one after the other.

Hi Brent, thanks for looking.
This was at a scenic viewing area on I-70. The closest town was Emery. I myself have been to Moab. Breathtaking beauty is the only way I can describe Moab. I was there late last year for the Jeep Jamboree. This is aprx 1 hr. north of Moab.
