getting things together for our county fair and thought I'd share a small portion of what i've got ready so far. Let me know what you think... maybe if i should think of something else for anything?

Personally, I would replace the dog and snow photos with something else. It's not that they are not nice shots, but I can tell you they would not place well at our local county fair. The judges tend to look for bright color, sharp contrast or cutesy photos. All of what you have shown are good photos, IMHO.

Except for the dog shot, all others should do very well. My personal fav is the snowy river. Great shots, which would appeal to a wide spectrum of tastes.

try to increase the saturation especially on the snow pic but definitely reserve the dog picture in some other event. otherwise, all your captures are okay and nicely done.

thank you all for your opinions! Would you still hold to your opinion of the dog one if the place i would put it is the computer manipulated section? people usually just slap a artisitic layer on the picture... i want to try something different.
