Default 1st time shooting lightening and car lights....

I thought I would share a couple of my lightening pictures. This was the first time I tried it along with capturing vehichle lights. I thought they were kind of cool. So I thought I would see what others thought?

Your first shot is so cool! Both at the same time. How did you manage that? Or did you merge two photos together? Still makes a pretty nice picture.
I still haven't gotten a good lightening shot.

Well done. I know how hard it can be to capture a good lightning shot. Keep it up

Thank you for the comment. I was lucky and was able to set up and take pictures at the right time!

No merging, straight out of the camera. I haven't learned photoshop yet. Just learning photography. Thought I would take it 1 step at a time. Thanks for the comment!

This was my first and I thought it turned out pretty good, especially with the "light trails" I new there was a name for those, I just couldn't remember it. LOL!

Nice shot - esp the fact that you captured both light trails and lightning in the same unedited shot. Sweet! Did the lightning just happen to occur or were you really trying for it -- and the light trails just worked out? IOW, which was the main attempt?

Yeah, great shots. I never have been fortunate enough to get any lightning shots myself. You did a great job.
