Default The Bird of Paradise

The Bird of Paradise, aka 'Phoenix' if I'm not mistaken, and 'Burung Cenderawasih' in Malay.

I took this shot in the KL, Bird Park. Not that it's a spectacular shot or anything. Just want to share.

Burung Cenderawasih 2

Burung Cenderawasih 3

Some people believe that this bird has some sort of mythtical power or something, though I doubt that to be true.

That bird is a real beauty. Didn't know that KL had a bird park. I have visited Jurong Bird Park in Singapore, but unfortunately had not acquired my Nikon or the 70mm-300mm zoom lens at that time. Thanks for sharing.

After reading the title, I was expecting to see a flower. What a surprise! I have never seen one of these birds in real life. Thanks for sharing.
