My first gig photos

So I made it out to see a mate play an acoustic set late night at a little pub in town. I ummed and arrred about taking the camera as I've still only got the super slow kit lenses and was worried I wouldn't be able to get anything remotely good. I decided I'd give it a go anyway and managed to get about 1% keepers.

Out of almost 200 photos, I only got 2 I think are any good, that's with putting in a fair whack of PP too.

Nice shots! Start saving some coin and get those fast lenses you want!

Great shots. Cocnert photography is one of my favorite forms. a fast lens is key. I have a 2.8 tamron that gets great shots and does not cost as much as some of the faster lens.

I've got my eye on a Nikkor 50mm f/1.8, just have to wait for christmas now
