Default water droplets and a natural valentine

It has been raining off and on for the past several days and has provided a few opportunities to get out and explore the water droplets on the leaves. I explored about 5 feet from my front door on my evergreen bushes which do an amazing job of holding these water balls, even on the very edge. I don't know how that happens at all. It defies gravity but obviously they have surface tension.

I took these for their reflections

I took this to show the number and position of all of these water droplets.....note how some ride on the edges of the blades.

This was a beautiful daylily

And finally, I know that it is a long way off...but nature has asked if you would be its valentine!

Ah, Patrick! So fresh, so green, so alive....and so well photographed! Your photos make me feel sorry for those who walk by and don't take the time to notice and photograph the beauty. Wonderful.

This is brilliant, Patrick. Very pleasing to the eyes, especially the 1st one.

Patrick what a great way to use the dreary weather! All are great shots. The first shot with the three drops is amazing. The reflections are so nice and crisp. Love the heart in the last one !! Isn't nature simply wonderful ?!

This borrowed lens should take alot of the credit for the sharpness part of the equation
