Playing around in my backyard with some flowers.. overcast and about 20 minutes before sunset, it was really dim ... So I was practicing with low light exposures, static flower shots and then having fun in post playing with them, nothing great in comparison to some of the macros and wonderful flower creations here at DPS .. but one has to experiment and push outside comfort zones ...
![]() not much time to set up flower arrangements , but we're gonna have alot of color in yard lol This one I softened almost to total blur, then used the brush and did selective sharpening ![]() came out kinda cool, so much color, I could play in editing for hours with these really dove in and tried my hand at abstracting a Rose ( cause the orignal was boring) ![]() and yes it's MY rose ... I have a few Rose Bushes I try and not kill.Credit to Windrider who inspired me with her recent Flower creation that was as much painting as it was a photo and everyone else who posts such beautiful flower images Thank you !! Not my style ( I don't even have a macro lense ) but it's alot of fun playing at artist and I was surprized they actually came out the way they did. Thanks for taking a look Vin

Macro, the beauty is in the missed details that we walk by each and every day................Love that rose shot. I do not know how to do anything in post processing. I feel like such a dunce. I have to try extra hard to get it right out of the camera beacuse of my lack of knowledge!

You certainly are trying new things, and I like them results.
No swans, no problem, the garden beckons and nature is all around us Low light conditions, no problem, just adjust those settings and we could viewing beautiful flowers at noon. No macro, no problem, improvisation, imagination and talent will compensate for that. "Not much time to set up flower arrangements , but we're gonna have alot of color in yard lol" and beautiful it looks as well. A wonderful series Vin, highest qualtity presenation as always ![]() beach |
