Alright, this is what I really do, dogs......show, breed and train dogs for show. And always with a camera in my hand. Here are some photos for the dog lovers here.
These are some of my dogs that are currently being shown. On my down time this weekend I found some very pretty scenery so we tried for some cute dog shots, hope you enjoy them. This is Jewels, yep she has some big, dark eyes..... ![]() My husband, with all 2 lbs of Jewels perched on his arm..... ![]() This is Floozy, she loves to pose for the camera ![]() And lastly the star of our show, Wasabi. ![]() These are all long and smooth coated chihuahuas. Thanks for looking, any and all comments are more than welcome. WARNING I do have puppies so more photos could end up here !!!

Great shots! Thansk for sharing.
Question here, How do you handle the red eyes? I have never been able to capture our chihuahua´s real eye color when shooting close. Thanks!

These are all great Mom! I love the 3rd one with Floozy, looks like she was totally ready for her close up! I love Wasabi his fur looks so soft and fluffy! Of course I adore the one with Dad, Jewels looks right at home. She was certainly ready for her close up as well judging by your first shot. Too cute!
These all turned out wonderful. I look forward to some adorable puppy shots in the near future!

under the bush, LOL, and no flash was used, so it wasnt an issue. Jewels really does have those big dark eyes. Some chihuahuas have ruby eyes, which makes the red eye effect really bad. Thank you Michelle, the dogs are my favorite little subjects. (Other than the girls of course) Thank you Mike, I am partial to Floozy too, she loves to pose and that makes it so fun !

So sweet. I can't let my daughter see these or all I will hear about is getting her a new chihuahua.
All of the dogs are adorable. I am really drawn to Jewels, she just looks so delicate. Can't wait to see more of them

Thank you both. Jewels is pretty much the 2 lb queen around here, she rules the roost.
And thank you Fred, I am really pretty excited as I had a few setbacks with my camera, but I finally am shooting in all manual, and I am loving some of the shots I've gotten. Its so challenging and so rewarding when you get it right !!! Your shots are always wonderful, so that was really nice coming from you, thank you.
