Default Windrider, you like purple right?

I couldn't help but think of windrider when I took these shots of purple. Still experimenting with a borrowed 105mm micro lens

Purple clematis

clematis

Purple wild thing!
DSC_5777

ok...it's not purple, and it probably inspires more ewwws than ahhhs but still thought it was cool.....looks like it's got symmetrical headlights across its head.
jumping spider 2

Shot with the macro lens at its widest setting. Flag was hung between two hook and ladder trucks as a Memorial Day honorarium.

Are you sure you're going to give that lens back it takes clear shots (maybe it's just the user)? Fantastic photos Patrich, love the spiders eyes, great colour too.

I don't think that he will ask for it back right away and I am going to shoot the heck out of it while I have got it. The sharpness is astounding compared to my kit lenses.....He'll have to pry it out of my fingers!

These are such sharp clear photos, the lens is definately a keeper...but I suspect that a good deal of the credit goes to the photographer

Nice job, I like the flowers and the flag. The spider creeps me out some but, it's a great picture. Everything is focused and lit well. Great work!

I think you are having quite a bit of fun with that lens ... perhaps you could work a trade with your buddy for the continued use of it.

All great shots ... I adore the spider eyes ! It fascinates me just how dang many they have

Patrick, you're having a lot of fun with this toy, aren't you? Those are really, really good images. Better put one of those lenses down on your Christmas list right now!

Ok ya lil brat, I'm sitting here early in the morning going ohhh and awww over the lovely PURPLE flowers and then I scroll down very slowly because I'm feeling so calm and wonderful and about pee my pants because there is a GIANT MAN EATING SPIDER sitting there looking at me and I just know its gonna pounce at any second.
No more calm for me. lol

How fun, a borrowed lens and some great subjects. Now that spider....creepy, but it always amazes me the things the camera sees that we can't.
