Default Finally a flower I can be prooud of!

I finally edited and cropped and played with this rose for a few days.
I really like how it looks ~ very proud of myself, yes I am!
I am soooo not posting it in the critique section as I don't want my bubble popped hahahahahaha I know it might not be perfect compared to the peeps that have been doing this for 30 years but for me ~ yup I am a happy happy woman with my first really nice floral shot

Beautiful shot. I like the dew on the edges and the faint pink on the tips of the petals.

You should be proud..as ive said before i know there are rules to photography but for me, whose an amatuer with no schooling on photography, its the look on the persons face when you hand them that special photo and they smile and are pleased.
Your rose is soft and delicate and the dew drops add interest so id say you did very good on this .lovely shot and i look forward to seeing more.

Default GREAT job!!!

afraid to critique? what is there to critique?

That shot is AMAZING!!!!

I love the dew, makes me think you woke up before sunrise for it (the coloring does, too).

The depth of field is perfect, too!!!

Not busting your bubble here but am going to blow it up some more! It is very nice...the first thing that jumps out is the fabulous contrast of that blue background with the cream rose. Then looking a little closer you see those petite water drops rimming the edges of the petals. It makes for a very artistic shot....just the type of photography that I love.....it's all in the details.......show it to the world, hold up your chin, fork over a little money and put it on canvas and when all's said and done.....go out there and find some more gems!

To be proud for sure! i would also be proud as this is truly a great shot of a subject that is one of the most difficult to photograph.
