This is a great set Bill, I love the framing in the first shot and a nice idea to use the looking back one too. Nice touch too to add a little colour to the last one and the textures in all these shots are excellet. Thanks for sharing them Bill. btw..Where is this old Abbey?

Jake..

Very nice set Bill. I like the way you framed the building through the doorway and the 3rd one... fantastic. Love it.

The 2nd one is nice. It showed a cool pattern of frames.

Hmm. That title almost sounds apologetic. For the record: the meter doesn't peg out for Abbies in Scotland. Wales maybe. Especially if they have pretty purple flowers in front of them. Or the views from afar. Those shots seem to take you back to the days when the abbey was inhabited by men and women with stories. If only stones could talk.

Hi Jake, this is Glenluce Abbey, the nearest big town would be Stranraer. Thanks for your nice comments

Thanks Linda, but the majority of my pictures seem to be old buildings, so I thought I would give people the heads up, just in case they don`t want to see ruined buildings. The only thing is, I love taking pictures of castles and abbeys, so there will be more I`m afraid.

Nice captures of a historical time. Looks like the day was a sunny one.
