Default My Trip to Las Vegas

I was only able to get away for about 3 days with my wife and we headed to our favorite casino in Sin City. We were able to get to a few places around the city like Hoover Dam, Red Rock Canyon, and of course The Strip. Here are a few of my favorites from this quick getaway. One thing that happened on the way out there was we had to stop in Denver. Well we were in Tampa's Airport and I saw a beautiful model talking to someone that looked like someone I admire quite a bit. After looking closer, listening carefully, sure enough it was him...Scott Kelby. After talking to him for a while, he was kind enough to sign my camera bag and he even invited me to his office after we returned from our trip. He was apparently headed to Denver for some photo shoot and seminar. What a way to start a trip!!

I especially recognise those last 2 from similar pics I took on my trip in April. Sounds like you had a great trip!

Hi there,
love the images, bring back some great memories. Thank you. I especially love the 2nd image, if I am right it looks like the start of the "Valley of Fire"? I renewed my vows there so it's a really special and beautiful place. Would love to see some more of your images of Las Vegas....
Thanks for sharing them

LOVE that first shot. Makes me think of the old poster of star wars... without the people of course.

Thanks for all the kind words. The trip was great, the scenery was awesome to view through glass, and it was all a breath of fresh air from what I see in Florida.

harrypalmer044, Yes, it is part of the Valley of Fire, and I will be posting a few more on my flickr site as I get to them. I took many but few will pass into my strict "keeper" bin

Thanks again all

-Paul
