Wink Two HDR types. The choice is yours.

--------------------

A normal (standard) one

Unripened Wheats

A dramatized one

My Ride HDR

It all depends on your style and on how you like it to be. LOL!!!

Hi, everybody!

Thank you for expressing your choices.

I also like the N# 1. But in Flickr, the 2nd one got in a short time 38 clicks and a favorite meanwhile the first got only 12 clicks. I wonder why some guys love the second type one. That's generally the kind of HDR you find in HDRs groups in Flickr. (except i am mistaking)

I believe High Dynamic Ranges should enhance our compositions instead of transforming it. IMO

Red face Both....

I like both and appreciate what ever is put together well... whatever we want to achieve. Some photos cry out for a whole lot of HDR, and it can be magical, others are beautiful without and and awesome with a little HDR... it all works for me.

Each to their own which is the great thing about photography, personally I dislike the ' over done ' HDR effect. I try to visualize what my end results will be before I press the shutter and I would never want any of my images to turn out like the second example.
Again just my opinion but I feel that if more consideration was given to determining the ' correct exposure ' for a given subject before the shutter was released then less post processing would be necessary, I am sure I am as guilty as anyone of relying on the camera electronics to determine the exposure but as with all machines to get the best from them a certain amount of user knowledge is required to consider and adjust the information provided by the camera. This shot with strong into the sun backlighting received 1 stop more exposure than the camera suggested, that retained enough detail in the shadow area to allow a bit of Photoshop dodging to retain the leaf detail which was the result I visualized when I first spotted this as a potential photo opportunity.
