Default Once in a lifetime fawn shot...

I think good pictures have a good story...My wife reminded me that God has a sense of humor...We did some some landscaping over the holiday weekend. My wife spent a lot of time last week researching flowers that are "deer resistent". So, we did a bunch of work and planted some Zonal Geraniums and some Blue Lilly Turf. My wife woke up Monday morning and wanted to check and make sure that the deer "didn't eat her flowers". She opened front door, and (to use her words)..."this is what God placed at our doorstep"...it was laying in the mulch bed...and it didn't eat the flowers...

There's a few other shots on my Flickr page, but this is the best one...

Great shot. I call them suburban rats, and posted a few in another thread this morning. My flickr page has a whole set of deer shots - we have herds in our backyard of 20 or more at a time.

Great shot! What a sweet baby deer! Glad it didn't eat the flowers!
