Default A few from this weekend

Camped on top of Cordova Pass. 14,000 and part of the Rockies. It snowed, it hailed and it rained. I was tracked by a coyote while hiking. My husband forgot the tent. But man it was fun. Gorgeous country. These are the only ones I have done so far but will post more later. The kid is a friends of ours who came along. He was the only one that could keep up with me hiking. My husband and his brother had to turn back. The altitude got to them. Do you see the face in the fire?

Really. What would a camping trip with rain and hail be without a tent? Boring and no tales to tell. Do wooden fence posts seek you out? I have this vision of them just repositioning themselves every time you set out with a camera. That first shot with the peaks beyond and the valley below is swoon great. The "kid" reminds me of James Dean, at least, you have shot the photos with that feel. Enjoyed this set and didn't have to worry about being eaten by a coyote.

What, no plague of locusts??!! You had it easy!

Seriously, those are very well done. Just gorgeous.

I'd like to think I could hang with you at 14,000 ft., but I live in FL. I think I'd be hanging back with your husband.

I see the face in the fire Windrider. You were very brave up there in all that weather. The scenery is gorgeous. I think I would have given up too, your friend did well to keep up. Thanks for sharing the trip Windrider. One question though. Where's the picture of the coyote? lol

Jake.

I swear before I read any replies I was thinking it looks like you captured the ghost of James Dean in the 3rd one! Love it! The others are pretty awesome as well. Glad you endured all you did to get some great shots!
