Default Help I'm seeing spots

From babies to bugs. I have been waiting to find one of these little beauties in my backyard and I knew it was only a matter of time when all of a sudden my 5 y.o. went nuts, "Mommy, Mommy look what I found?" Goody for me!

O.K. hold on, can you give me a minute, I need to fix my antennas...
Ladybug

almost there...
Ladybug

One more sec. gotta wipe my mouth...
Cleaning Lady

O.K. now I am ready for my close up!
Ladybug

I like how the two dots on her back kind of make a heart, cute!

Happy Memorial day to all and I hope this made you smile!

Ladybug ladybug fly away home,
Your house in on fire and your children are gone,
All except one and that's little Ann,
For she crept under the frying pan.

Aren't nursery rhymes a little gruesome, the complete opposite to these beautifully presented pictures complete with running commentary. DPS members really do, do it in style, great post Michelle

Wow Michelle, These really are about as good as they come! Awesomely detailed shots.....Cute little things. I hope that I can find some of these before summer is out.....I found a jumping spider....not near as cute and it was tiny and very very skittish about my lens being in its territory. Love your storyline too. Stay tuned, I'll be posting 1000th late tonight!

I remember reading nursery rhymes to my girls and thinking OMG, these are awful! We even changed the words to Rock-a-bye Baby to sound nicer. Thank you Beach!

Thank you Patrick! Jumping spiders make me nervous but it's kind of funny when I have a camera in my hand I seem to lose some of my old fears. Oh the lengths we will go to for a good shot of something interesting. I will be sure to be watching tonight! That is so exciting. That in and of itself is like a mini challenge, cause you want it to be really good. I am sure yours will be wonderful! I am looking forward to it.

Hi Lisa, your shots are really awesome! You have a true Macro lens (I'm jealous) I had to just use my 50mm and 10X filter. Best I can do. Thanks for the compliment!

Oops, my mistake but it does not take anything away from your great images! They still rock!

Very, very well captured Michelle. So much detail. I am so glad you found one and managed to get him to do as he was told. Even if he did take a little while to get ready...lol. Thanks for sharing the adventure of the ladybird.

Jake.
