Default first shots with my new toy

well after spending all kinds of money on zoom lenses i finally was able to pick up a wide angle... and so far i think its awesome.. TOKINA 11-16 f2.8

here are some of the shots i was able to get while i was at the griffith observatory tonight...
i hope u like them cause i felt like it was a pretty productive night...

I love the first and last ones. Great use of lighting. Did you set a long exposure time?

thank you... im still a rookie but its been a work in progress for me...

yes i did... through out most of the night i was shooting with 10 sec exposures... some times a little more, sometimes a little less...

Great set of shots! I agree with everyone else, that last shot is amazing! Thanks for making me want yet another lens that I can't afford! LOL

hahah thanks... yeah i hate buying lenses... but they usually help make the picture so its a sacrafice that NEEDS to be made...

If I had to pick, #1 would be mine, but #2 really belongs on the cover of a brochure.

Great work... I really like the last one. Beautiful. It's been years since I was at the Griffith Observatory. Thanks for reminding me it's still there.

All great shots, but I love the third one especially. Great perspective on the lettering. Great capture of the sky.
