A few shots I took in the garden yesterday

I like them, especially the second and final pictures.
They are excellent with great colour and compositon, nice backgrounds and would look good, framed and hanging on the wall, well done

Beautiful captures Sheldon. Lovel colours and detail. Your DoF is spot on too. My favourite, although all good is the last one. Nicely composed to bring out the best of this lovely flower. Nice work buddy.

Thanks - unfortunately, from my limited experience, flowers are a pretty good place to start for successful shots - it's all the other stuff such as portraits, landscapes etc which seems much harder to master

Well you've come to the right place Sheldon.There is a wealth of help here for those that wish to seek it. I still think you did a great job. Luck is OK in my book.
