Default The first thing I see when I open my eyes

Here is the very first thing I see in the morning when I open my eyes I may have to glue a picture of Capt. Jack Sparrow to his nose

Lol. I am guessing that the first thing you hear is a demand for some breakfast! Our little puppies are the same, demanding we give them attention before we're even awake.

Cheers

I like how you got in very close to his face. I guess this is exactly what you see from your perspective each morning!

OHHH yeah! If I video taped it you would see him pawing me in the face LOL
He sits on my chest and stares down at me and uses his paw to gently tickle my nose until I am awake .... the best part is he is 15 years old and NOT a little kitten! LOL

Cousin Cooper sends his regards. After we took away his "auto dry food feeder" away from him we had to work real hard to get him to stop complaining at our bedroom door at 4:00 in the morning

Yeah, Coop's the man! Over the years, we've had several cats, and their personalities are all unique in some way. He has an abundance of personality! ...quirky, chatty, and always a source of amusement for me and my family. We had to take away his auto feeder as he could never walk past it without grazing, and we didn't want to wind up with a 25 lb tabby!

I hear you on that! Felix is 15lbs now and he is a small boned tabby LOL
He is old and his metabolism has slowed down in his old age. I currently have him on a diet plan ~ which does not go over so well with him LOL I have him on Wellness cat food which is taking a lot of the weight off ..slow but sure!
My grey tabby is the same age and weighs about 9lbs but looking at her you would think she was bigger ~ she is a fluffy long haired tabby but when she gets wet ...she is a teeny petite little thing.

I do rescue volunteer work and over the years ended up with
2 cats (14 and 15 years old)
a pembroke welsh corgi (almost 13 years old)
A yellow lab mix (10 years old)
ANDDDDD the pain in the ass (at least to the 4 legged old fogies) my 12 month old golden retriever!

My golden retriever was actually Wellness pet food dog of the month back in Jan. we are working on becoming a therapy dog team to visit sick kids in the hospital. Its a lot of work but we both enjoy it!

I love all of my 4 legged babies. I don't work (outside of them home) so I have lots of time to devote to them... along with my 3 kids who love our pets! Bentley (our golden) was a rescue that came at the perfect time for us. With my geriatric pets ... we all know its just a matter of time before they start leaving us. They also aren't big on rough housing or catching balls with the kids LOL Bentley fills a void with having a playful pup around

Brook, all I can say is thank goodness for people like you...it takes a very special person to take on the responsibilities that you have taken on. And BTW, Cooper comes in around a svelte 15 lbs.

On a separate not..how do you like your G10? My first digital was a G2, and although we have two DSLR's, I still find my "ole G2" to be an excellent camera for certain types of photography. I almost use it exclusively for my car photography.
