Default Four Wheeling in Tassies Weld Valley

I went out to the Beautiful Weld Valley in Tasmania's south with a few mates yesterday. I thought it'd be a great chance to have a get the camera out and try my hand at photographing action driving.

Most of the day was spent under the fog line, so it was quite a lot harder to get the high shutter speed I wanted and the fog really played havoc with my landscapes too! anyway, here's some pics, any thoughts on how they could have been improved greatly appreciated.

My mates "Shorty40" in the bushes

I think this one could have used a bit of cropping to move the rig a bit lower in the frame, but otherwise it's one of the better photos of the day.

The same rig hitting a puddle

And one of the better shots of the river

I really struggled to get a decent shot of the river with the fog, the sky was way to bright and everything else wasn't bright enough, any ideas on how to shoot landscapes in the fog? If I can't work it out I can only take photos 6 months a year!

Well, I tell you what they look good to me. I used to have an old landcruiser. That second one brought back some really great memories. Thanks for sharing them.

Hi Free-love Tasmania!!

We're not meant to 'critique' in 'Share my Shots' so maybe if you move into a 'critique' thread you'll get constructive feedback to help with your question?

Hi Moi, not really after a critique as such, just an idea on how to shoot in the fog. I might put a question up in the general forum sometime...
