Smile My first mock photoshoot.

A friend of mine the lovely Francie Millar volunteered to have her photo taken by me for practice with photographing people and posing. I took 300 and some odd photos and spent a few hours sorting them all out and choosing about 30 which we liked and these are a few which I happened to enjoy most and decided to share with all of you.

And a shot of her and I together, I am looking rather sharp I must admit.

Thanks for looking!

Thanks and welcome to DPS! The door she is leaning against is a door to a utility room built into a hillside by a fountain. Sadly the fountain has been out of commission for a while or else I'd include it.

The 2nd photo is indeed my favorite from all of the shots I took. As for the self portrait we took a few together and I originally blinked in it so I told her not to worry I could use photoshop to fix it for her. Glad you found it funny as she did as well.

The 2nd looks really nice with that windswept look and a 1/2 smile.

Thanks Fred! Your compliments are very much appreciated. A friend of mine called it "The digital challenge to Smiley Face (circa 1970). " It made me chuckle.

Thanks Pjflan, This was one of the shots towards the end of the shoot we were having trouble working with the wind and the sun popping in and out of the clouds which was one of the bigger challenges for me as humans don't seem too aerodynamic when it comes to the long hair its blown all over the place and then when we'd get a break in the wind the sun would take a break behind a dark cloud so I am very glad that I caught a decent balance of the two.

Thank you Rick! I plan on doing more as I have a few people who have volunteered for me it's just a matter of finding time and a place to do it.
