Default There's a fight out in the field!

I passed by these horses next to our ABC TV station here in Lexington on the way home from work.....they were fairly near the fences. As I was approaching....the darker horse, just out of the blue, bit the brown horse on the butt.....It chased the horse away from me...c'mon! The brown horse tried to buck it off...that photo is on my flickr, these pictures tell the rest of the story:

Whatcha bucking for you little wimp?!

two horses fighting

I was trying to kick your teeth out, now back off!

DSC_5339

brown horse: "I am going to take you down and kick your ***" Black horse: "Uh Oh, what did I just get myself into?" (have to see the expression on Flickr)

two horses fighting 2

Brown Horse: "Now git! You done made me hungry!" Black Horse: "Man, that hurt....I don't think I'll bother him again"

Great shots Patrick, just like teenagers always picking at each other to get something started.

Really I was quite astonished to see this display.......guess I don't hang around long enough to see all of their behaviours

The cars you see are in the parking lot of the station. The station is situated off a main road but seated in the middle of a big field where there are some horses that graze.....a couple that don't get along apparently

Good series, Patrick. Well portrayed.

I guess, like people, we all need our space.

Great set Patrick! You are always so witty! Makes me smile I really enjoyed them. They were really going at at. Setting some ground rules.
