Default Hope for Peace

A sculpture of young woman longingly looking out her tear-shaped window .. I thought this image is appropriate in observance of Memorial Day .. to all our friends around the free world - whether you observe Memorial Day or not - say thank you to the men and women of the armed services - past, present and future

Hoping for Peace

Hayward, good post and great sentiment.
I agree, we should never forget the sacrifices made by the armed services and other emergency services, worldwide

This a very nice capture Hayward and a great reminder of what our armed forces have done and will do for their respective countries. In my case it will not be past or present. My son will finish his college and has just signed a pledge to sign up for the British Army and has just returned from his first training excercise. So in my case it will be for the future. Thanks for remembering the boys and girls of the armed forces.

Jake.

Thanks for reminding us, Hayward. We all need to be grateful to those that gave so we might have.

Hope you don't mind me adding this. (If you do, let me know and I will delete it. I'm just not going to be around this weekend)

Some gave all

Thanks Howard, this is a Wonderful reminder of the sacrifices that have been made to Keep our Country the Greatest Country in the World. We need to keep all of our sons and daughters in the military in our prayers as well.
