Unintentional subjects

These photos were taken probably a month ago when I went back to my old university to shoot its buildings and architectures. When I was about to go home, I saw these two kids just outside the church eating ice cream. I was glad their parents agreed to have their photographs taken. That was my first time to shoot portraits, and actually I haven't shot portraits since then. Recently, I have a growing fascination in child portraits and I am planning to explore this area more. Pictures are a little soft, but hope you like them. Thanks for viewing!

Up to now I am still wondering if they are brothers. They don't look alike but they have the same parents hehe

Thanks for your comments guys! They were indeed cute subjects plus the fact that they haven't wiped their mouths yet after eating ice cream haha.. I am planning to go to parks and playgrounds to practice more portraits. Thanks!

Nice pictures! Be careful about your camera in the parks. Introduce yourself very politely to the parents, give them contact info and offer free copies of the pictures and be very careful of which poses you keep. There have been some nasty witch hunts around childrens' photos these days.
