Default Jerome and Sedona AZ

I took these a few years ago. The first 2 are from a "museum" just outside of Jerome. The second 2 are the red rocks around Sedona Arizona. More specifically Oak Creek canyon, just south of Sedona. It's really a beautiful place.

Trucks with attitude that's what I like to see. The rocks are amazing I would love to visit Arizona, the landscape looks very different to any I get to see. That's what I like about this site so much, a bit of virtual holiday.

That is one mean looking truck Fred and i love the logo on the bonnet (hood). The views in the second two are amazing. Pardon my ignorance of geography but is this anywhere near the Grand Canyon? That really is a lovely place and your captures show it really well. I can almost smell the campfire and the coffee. Thanks for sharing this wonderful place buddy.

Jake.

Hey Jake, the pot's always on. It's in the same state. The canyon is north of where these were taken.

Love that truck !! I would have been cracking up to much to take a picture. Sedona, how many places in this world are that gorgeous ?? A friend and I drove from Phoenix to the Grand Canyon only to find it totally fogged in, so we decided to go back down to Sedona for the day instead. We had no idea what it looked like, had just heard good things. It was so amazing when we first got onto the windy highway that leads into it. Was a good trip, that we still joke about today (was a quite alcohol fueled Thelma and Louise week) Thanks for sharing those pics and reminding me a very fun and memorable trip.

You're right, Sue. It's a uniquely beautiful place. The rocks, the vegetation, the light... Just a great area to photograph. Lol, I'm glad I can play a part in reminding you of a pleasant memory.

Hi Hayward, Yes the truck is part of the display. We pulled up, got out and there it was. I use the term museum rather loosely here. It was an eclectic collection of stuff, arranged in an amusing fashion. We were not even able to go in, they wanted 10 bucks a head to get in. I thought that was kind of unreasonable but, I snapped a few outside. Thanks for your comment Hayward.
