studying hard or hardly studying?

OK this is a bad shot so no need to tell me about how bad it is LOL

Yesterday afternoon I was testing my new telephoto lens to see if I could read the words of my soon to be 15 year old (first week in June egads I need to get him a gift soon) son's science book. I wasn't doing photography work ~ just clicking to see if I could read the words LOL

ANYWAY when I downloaded the photos last night I was impressed with the words on the science book and all of that BUT noticed a VERY VERY nice side effect to telephoto lenses

This is finals week and he is SUPPOSED to be studying his wee little heart out ...so taking votes "Is he studying hard or hardly studying?"



What started as a test shot ends up being rather funny LOL

This forum is not really about how good or bad a shot is praline. It is about sharing a favourite shot or one that you like. So, this is a shot which tells a very funny story and that makes it a great shot. What was a test turns out to be a mystery. If I was to guess, I would say that he was hardly studying. I know coz I have done this myself. lol... Nice piece of humour, I love this shot along with your story...Well done.

I showed him the photo and he looked all surprised. He tried to tell me he was so wrapped up in his studies he didn't even hear the camera or know I was taking photos of him ... yeah he thinks ma was born yesterday and never was a freshman in high school

Oh no I got a GREAT shot that has that written ALL over his face

He hates having his picture taken so I have to sneak shots just to get one decent one a year lol

hardly studying is my guess !!!

My daughter is 14 and will be 15 in July.. so I get this all the time. Two nights ago she was sooooooooooooooo far behind in her homework and just haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad to get this paper done for the next day and her friend had all the books so couldn't she pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeease go over to her house and spend the night (on a school night) to finish this up. It was soooooooo critical. I said No. Two hours later I go into her room to find her gabbing on the phone and not a lick of homework done. Can you say grounded ?

Yup ...sounds like my little angel! That is why during finals week I require him to study at the kitchen table
