Default Lessons of Life

Late spring, eggs have hatched, newborn chicks have made it out of the nest and it's time to get on with learning life's lessons,

Why did the goslings cross the road ?

follow me

to get to mommy and daddy

Afternoon naptime
and take a nap

I do not understand how anyone could call a Signet ( baby swan ) Ugly !

Who you calling ugly ?

Give that little fella a few years and he's gonna grow in to Nobility on the riverbank, I still get fired up when one offers a good pose, they command photographing lol

Proud parent
Getting some sun while she watches the kids , like alot of Mom's do, the Geese and Swans seem to be excellent parents, both sets of parents where always close by and always trying to get between the chicks and me if I got too close.

Hope you like them ,

Vin

WOW! Vin these are truly amazing! You have just wowed and amazed me. I love everything about each one!
#1 is just so adorable, three in a row, what could be cuter?
#2 I mean WOW! That is just darling, mommy and baby (such great focus!),
#3 I love that water drop coming off his beak (great catch), and
#4 so regal and fabulous (great focus and white is a very hard subject to shoot).
You did such a fantastic job with these, really! Thank you for the smile they brought to my face.

Great set of shots! These are all very very good. My favorite is number three. I love the detail of the drop on the baby's beak. Great clarity too! I also love the second one. Great contrast between the mother and baby. The colors and the softness of the babies feathers compared to the mother....just beautiful!
