Looks like a '62 or '63 Ford Falcon, not exactly in showroom condition, but it makes for a marvelous photograph! Am I seeing things? It looks like FORD on the hood is backwards. Anyway...I digress--Great image!

Great shot. Love the rust detail.

The Ford is backwards...wonder if they were related to my Dad. He changed the direction of the emblems so people in front of him could read it in their mirror.

That has to be an inverted image. If the letters had been moved on the hood, the "R" would still point to the right, not the left as in the photo.
(That, and the steering wheel would still be on the other side of the car...)

lol, you are right it is on backwards. Probably from when I flipped the image to face the other way. Great eye for seeing that.

Wow, great find! You just don't find old abandoned rust buckets like that in The Netherlands.

About the photo: it's a bit too HDRy for my taste.

Cool shot. Reminds me of my high school days. One of my best friends had a '62 Falcon and I would hate to tell some of the things that went on in that car.
Thank for the memories,
Mark
