Default Swan Lake

This shot was good because the swan "POSED" for me. Getting a close shot is difficult especially if you using a 18-55mm lense and need to get a close up. Trick is not to spook the guy. Move slowly look at him, set up your shot and take it.
Taken at Leeds Castle,UK, the swan was swimming around the castle moat.

Nice picture to start off with. Welcome to a great place to learn and make friends who share you passion! I recently did some swan photos and when I took a close look, they were actually fake. I thought it strange that they didn't move much.
