Default Siena, Italy

Two more pictures from my Italy trip. Siena was the next stop.
View from the top of the unfinished church - a grey day

Night shot near il campo. Another one of my favorite shots from the trip.

Thanks for looking.

Hello, fellow Arizonan. Any photo from Italy will always be most welcome. I was there in 2004. Your sweeping view of the Tuscan countryside is just great. The warmth of the buildings contrasting with cool green is so pleasing. The sense of history is marvelous, isn't it? More photos, I hope!

That 2nd shot has wonderful light and color throughout the whole frame. Very nicely done...makes me want to go there and see first hand

Both pictures are really nice. The colors in the second one do it for me.

Thanks! I lived in Italy for two years, and this was my first trip back since then. And yes, I already posted a few other pictures and there are more to come for sure.

Thanks! I was lucky enough to get some really good night shots during the trip. Since Italians eat a lot later than we do, the blue hour was usually just beginning when we finished dinner.

Thanks Chip. The clouds turned much nicer after the sun went down. During the day just about everything else I took had blown highlights.
