Default Here Comes the Sun

I went camping this weekend with the granddaughter and the horses. Taking horses camping takes a lot of preparation and work but it is worth it when you wake up to this.

Just beautiful...would love to take a horse camping trip...not too sure if my rear end would hold up though!

This is one fortunate Granddaughter. There is a great book called the "Last Child in the Woods: Saving Our Children From Nature-Deficit Disorder" by Richard Louv that is a call to creting these kinds of experiences for children. It must have been inspiring to share this beautiful sunrise with a girl and horse. Pang!

Wow, very beautiful indeed. Must be nice to wake up and see this. I can imagine that camping by horseback is fun. Can I take a fishing pole? LOL, my posterior couldn't take the abuse. Call me tenderfoot or is it tender rear? Thanks for sharing these.

Camping in the Rockies, with a grandchild, with horses, with beautiful sunrises...Does it get any better? I'm so filled with envy!
