Lovely photos, the first one is so clean, clear and well composed and of course the purple light in the cathedral is a great capture. Did the lady (your wife ?) buy the shoes?

Did you reproduce the colours in the third shot on the first attempt or was it a change the settings a few times sort of shot. Great job.

Fabulous photos! I love that last one! And... you just have to know that if there is a shoe store in the vicinity of a woman, she must stop and stare... haha!

Thank you, no she didn`t buy any shoes. I think the thought of me fainting at 90 euro shoes put her off, though according to her, that wasn`t to expensive

Thank you, didn`t change the settings as much as changed position to get a better perspective, no flash either.

Hi Bill, I swear, it is work keeping up with you and your travels. It becomes necessary to learn stuff. For instance: Jersey:..not Scotland. St. Malo...also not Scotland. A little slow on the take up but getting there. And speaking of being a little slow on the take up. Women? Shoes? Your point is what? You don't know about the "cute shoe" gene? Moving on. Lovely view of St. Malo from the boat. My favorite is the Cathedral shot. The purple shadows cast by the stained glass window are very other worldly. I like that you chose the cast shadow rather the window itself. For some reason the hint is more intriguing. Thanks for sending postcards from a part of the world I didn't even know exisited.

St Malo-North Coast of France-an hour from my Brittany house. What a lovely first shot-a classic!
