Finally got to go out, it's been a while, the Red Winged Blackbirds were very co-operative today!! (although the cranes might not agree!!)

ANY day with the "conk la ree" in it, is a good day. What a treat to see these guys. They just don't seem to like the desert much, so I must depend upon DPS members to put a Red-winged Blackbird smile on my face. With these, I'm grinning ear to ear!

Those are great shots !! I have been waiting for going on 3 weeks now for my 300mm lens to come in so I can head down to where those guys play near us !! I hope mine come out as good as yours
