Default It's good to be One!

My boy just turned one and we had a bunch of munchkins over yesterday to celebrate. We counted 12 kids under 4 years old. It was a good time. Eli handled his cake like a pro - like he'd been training for it. The theme was a farmer's party, and we changed the Ol McDonald's Farm around to fit our situation - we sang ELI ELI OOOO. We had water sprinkler's, bikes, and all kinds of fun stuff to do. I got some great pics - here's a few.

Eli loved that balloon.

He just devoured that "haystack" cupcake.

Here's his Birthday getup. I think it's a good look.

My wife was quite proud of her barn cake - turned out great.

Wow all the work that went into that lovely cake and then....Well....That is the only way to eat it. lol.. He looks like he had a great birthday, and you too. Great to have all the kids isn't it. We only go as grandad and Nanna these days and leave all the clearing up to the kids..lol.. Great fun and thanks for sharing Eli's first birthday.

Default Great shots

I especially love the cupcake finger picture. The green icing mirrors your son's shirt. With the blur, you aren't sure if it is icing or shirt. And I totally know where that handful of cupcake is headed! Great sense of anticipation.

I especially like the first one, with the blur and that happy smile. Good work.

That's my favorite. I was kinda surprised when I went back through the shots with that one.
