Default Please don't leave me

Part me of always hates this pose when I see it. Engagement sessions with the woman clinging to the mans leg always makes it look like she's begging him not to leave her..lol Nevertheless, I had to try it. I didn't quite pull if off like I had imagined. She wasn't into actually sitting on the ground but out of all the images I snapped, I think this one ended up being my favorite.
This is my first and last engagement session. I don't think I was cut out for photographing adults. Children are soo much easier!

the title tells it all!! you effectively left for imagination how the groom-to-be's face looks like and how he responded! nice shot!

Yes I have to agree. The title really fits the image. Beautiful conversion by the way.

I agree about adults - they are to conscious of .....everything! when you try this with a kid, they will be so psyched to sit on the ground. But as usual, you PP is to DIE for!

I think it portray that "he is mine and no-one else can have him. But without the expression of the man!! That is what makes this an excellent capture. Very nice work Ruthie.

Jake.

I like the hint of a little smile on the girls face, some might even call it smug. Not seeing to much of her victim, sorry boyfriend, certainly adds to the picture and lets the imagination run riot. Is he smiling, are the handcuffs too tight, so many other scenarios. I like pictures like this.

I must admit that I've not seen this pose with adults and I've only seen it with children. I agree with you, it does give the impression she's begging him not to leave. Yours is executed very well! I certainly hope it won't be your last engagement session though, you photography is too good!
