From the garden - finally after two long years, they start to bloom - whew!! .. I wish I know what they're call -

HI YA BUDDY!!!! I really picked a wonderful day to stop in...these shots are TRULY AMAZING!!! WOW...and wouldn't you know I Love these Irises...my mother's favorite flower!!!!

Hayward what great shots !!! You have captured the colors, details and curves of these so well. I am glad that they finally bloomed for you! I agree with David about them being Iris's, we have tons in our yard that will bloom late summer

Very sharp images with lively colors! I like the DOF on the last one. And thanks to David for naming the flowers! I myself don't know it. Thanks for sharing.

Like flemenco dancers in their flowing purple gowns, these fantastic flowers grace the frame with a flurry of colour, light and shade. Beautifully captured and presented Hayward, excellent work as always

Hayward all I can do is say ditto, the gang have already captured my thoughts of these beautiful shots .. these were my Aunt's fav flower as well, these pictures bring back fond memories, so thx for that too ..
