That mother duck makes a good case for the power of body language. Her messaage is loud and clear and your photo does a great job of conveying it. Apart from the message, your shot also does justice to her beauty. That blue patch is so vivid. The flowers are beautiful as well. The tiny diamond-like water drops just sparkle.

great pair here PrimeTime .. the flowers are beauty .. the mother duck .. awesome capture, and it always amazes me .. this could be her 3rd brood or first .. they just know how to take care of the family ...

Nice shot of the duck. I have been out lately shooting (with my camera) the Canadien Geese with their babies and they are very protective of them.

Thank's firbinster, I have a couple geese shots, with young. They are a little different, in that they kind of hunker down and try to hide untill danger passes. If you get too close , then they get up and run.
