I'm trying to work on my event photography. Took these at a donor dinner we put on at the Museum I work at on Thurs night.

They are all nice shots depending on what you are aiming for. For me the first and third have a nice artsy feel to them, while the 2nd one is more about the event

If you stopped down lower, you could of blurred the busy background, putting more focus on what you're shooting. To be honest, my eye had trouble finding where to look. But if that was a lens limitation, it's understandable. Great shots otherwise!

Thanks everyone, Part of the goal of these shots is to help our facility rentals. I was trying to show the "event" while getting a sense you were in the Museum. So being able to make out certain iconic features in the Museum was part of the composition. Do you think it worked, putting it into perspective?
I did a F1.4 for the mammoth but he just looked like a big blob, so that's about a 2 I think.
