Default It sure does not look that big up close

The local fire company was out training and I took a few shots of them with their hook and ladder. The first one is looking up the big ladder from below. It does not look that big, but when you look at the second one you can see how tall that ladder really is:

and here are a couple more shots:

I am a 911 operator and a police/fire dispatcher, so I can REALLY appreciate these pics! They look great! Thanks for posting.

And that is definitely a mighty tall ladder!

Two great captures Kirbinster and a perfect demonstration of perspective. Super work buddy.

Wow, those are great! I really like the first one. What a perspective. Imagine climbing up that thing dragging a firehose.

You can clearly see in the second set that this truck has a built in pipe that feeds the water cannon at the top of the ladder -- no need to drag any hoses. I did not realize such things existed either until I took these shots.

I love that first one. The yellow hose really leads your eye from the bottom to the top of the picture!

Very nice Kirbinster, I used to be a PCF, a paid call firefighter, and I have always been fascinated with fire fighting apparatus. We did not have anything close to this in our humble little fire brigade. Love to see shots like this. Thanks!
