Default On the road again

I'm still new to taking photos with my DSLR and I finding that some of the best shots are the ones that I didn't think would be any good. Here's one that shot while on the way home from a photo "walk about" and it was the keeper from the whole shoot.

I love the way this photo hits the rule of thrids and guides the eye around the picture (the mirror to the telephone pole to the clouds to the moving road) and how the blur of the road suggests moving forward and the image in the mirror tells where I was coming from.

Maybe I'm looking into too much, but I really like it and wanted to pass it along. Let me know what you think.

You have got a picture within a picture and that alone makes for an interesting photograph and quite frankly the better composition lies within the mirror......The mirror image makes the photograph have the character it does....nice shot

I've looked at this picture several times and really didn't know what to say , my inadequacies and not the pictures , I like it a lot and find it very interesting and creative. Nice job.

There's something psychologically interesting about the road behind. Your photo has a sense of "look how far I've come". As you say in your introduction, all the technical aspects are just right. So is the emotional one. Nicely done.

I absolutely love this! I agree, the best image is within the mirror but the picture as a whole is just awesome!
