Default Spring time colors

Caught this yesterday morning. Colors just jump out over the black of the fields. Look at it in large version and you can see the corn just starting to come up in the field.

Springtime color

I was flying over a field similar to this one years ago. I turned to the man next to me and ask what the black stuff was. He looked at me like he should be frightened and said "dirt". I didn't know dirt came in this color. Remember...desert. My husband is from Albert Lea and when he showed me the black, plowed fields of Minnesota, I fell in love. Spring trees, a barn and plowed fields. Life is good.

Great shot!
Good composition, and I love the way the colors make a "layer effect".
