Default Gypsy Party

This Gypsy Party rose was shot with ambient and flash light. The first one is ambient. The other was with flash. I swiveled the flash head to the rear of room.

Thank YOU, Mike. My roses are just now starting to really bloom. The ice storm this winter and a cold spring really did a number on 'em.

Thanks for looking.

Your second rose picture is absolutely stunning. The detail that the flash has picked up makes the roses stand out. Great job.

Thanks very much. I love red when it's rendered true. Sometimes it's a difficult thing to capture.

Yes, I have noticed that too.....not so sure why that is....my Nikon dslr and my canon p&s both struggle with reds and sometimes the depth of purples...they look washed out. Not sure why that is. I haven't seen too many people in KY on this forum but it would be cool to get a number of us together to do a photo walk somewhere...Louisville, Cincinnati, Lexington.....
