Your second rose picture is absolutely stunning. The detail that the flash has picked up makes the roses stand out. Great job.

Yes, I have noticed that too.....not so sure why that is....my Nikon dslr and my canon p&s both struggle with reds and sometimes the depth of purples...they look washed out. Not sure why that is. I haven't seen too many people in KY on this forum but it would be cool to get a number of us together to do a photo walk somewhere...Louisville, Cincinnati, Lexington.....
