Cool Falling Apart...

This is a pic from the first photo shoot I ever did. It was about three years ago when I was only dabbling in photography with my D70. I was really heavy into photo manipulations and deviations and this has always been one of my favorite works. Just thought I'd share it =D

PS- I did this three years ago and don't remember ALL the steps I took to get to this final stage of the pic. But I do remember there were a LOT of layers and LOTS of masks and blending =D And many different textures. Hope you enjoy it and hope it doesn't offend anyone =)

Very creative. I think it would make a great album cover!

I wish I had ready access to the original pic... But my computer that has a lot of my older work on it died and I haven't pulled the data yet. But the original pic was just the girl in the pose with very little eye makeup on. Everything else that you see from the colors to the wings to the cracking skin and nails thru the skin were all added post production! The original background was completely white too.
Here is another pic from the same shoot and the only thing I did in Post Prod was to over expose the image by adjusting the levels and blur a bit of it to soften it up. Nothing else was touched or tweaked.

thats amazing! I love that, you seem to have an eye for the post work, to know what you want or enough creativity that it just comes together.
