Default ole blue eye....and brown

On another one of my lunchtime excursions, I pulled over to the side of the road upon seeing some horses grazing. I got out and while shooting some various things, this one particular horse took notice that I was there at the fence and came over to me. From a little distance, I noticed that something was off and it wasn't until it was a little closer that I realized that its eyes were very different. The horse's left eye was brown but with a light blue "C" across the face of it and the right eye was essentially mostly blue with a black horizontal bar for its pupil. From all outward appearances, the horse could see just fine. I just thought it was interesting to happen upon a horse with this sort of appearance.

Ok, this has nothing to do with the above but it was a post that I shot while out and I thought it had alot of character and I wonder how old it is...new barbed wire fences are so boring.

So, in your lunch break, you stare into the eyes of a horse. lol.. Very well spotted Patrick. He has a kind of hypnotic stare as well. Great detail of the horse. Love that last shot too Patrick. As Ryan says so simple but still a great capture, nice textures from both the post and the wire. I sure like sharing your lunchtime adventures my friend.

Jake.

Probably not too many people have unless you raise horses, then you might see one here and there. One of the reasons I posted was so people can see something a bit different, a bit unusual. thanks for stopping by
